It is really simple. Take all your measurements such as body weight, bod mass index, and body fat percentage.
Suppose your body fat percentage is 35% now; you can resolve to lose all the extra fat in six months from today.
So you have to write down in bold letters on paper that you have resolve to lose 20% body fat percentage by actually losing 16 lbs of pure body fat on this particular date. Your goal should be very specific, measurable, and also achievable. Keep this piece of paper within your view in your office and also at home. Tell your close friend about your goals and ask them to be supportive, encouraging towards you.

put a scale in your kitchen and whenever you eat, stand on it and watch the numbers rise (always drink water when eating). That way you’ll be less tempted to indulge.
reward yourself each week or every other week with some new clothing item (go shopping!)
put inspirational quotes on the fridge.
leave the house whenever you’re tempted to snack.
never buy anything unhealthy!
PS: Almond Breeze (unsweetened vanilla flavor), which you can buy at Whole Foods, has only 45 calories per cup!! better than skim milk/1% even!
you can easily stick to a program if you are determined… try this one…i hope it will help you
Hi ChAos,
At some point or another, almost everyone who is on a weight loss program is going to have troubles maintaining motivation. It gets challenging over time to continually plan ahead for your meals, make sure you’re getting your workouts in, and making an extra effort to get more sleep so your body can recovery optimally.
So, if you find your motivation waning, don’t feel too bad – it really is completely normal. The key difference between those who succeed with their weight loss program though and those who don’t, will be the ways they have come up to deal with these slumps in motivational levels.
When you have a back-up plan – a ‘plan of action’ if you will, to combat this and get back into it, you’ll find that it becomes much easier to maintain your weight loss momentum.
Here are some simple, quick tips to help you regain your drive to maintain your workouts and diet.
Write Down Internal Goals
One of the top tips to help you boost your motivation is to write down some internal reasons for achieving your goal. Far too often we focus strictly on looking better, fitting into a certain size, and so on – which there’s nothing wrong with that, only that it’s less likely to be ‘long-lasting’ in terms of sticking with our program.
If you can nail down some other, more health-related reasons to staying active and eating well, you’ll do better over the long haul. This could be things like having more energy, feeling better, preventing diseases, increasing work performance (since that will be directly related to how much energy we have), and so on.
Focus on a few of those types of goals along with your goals of looking better and you’ll be on the road to weight loss success.
Find A Mentor
The next thing you can do to help you stick with your weight loss program is to find a mentor – basically someone who has been there and can help you along the way.
This mentor could be a personal trainer, a friend who has accomplished similar goals to what you’re trying to obtain, or someone who you’ve never met but just look up to.
Set Mini Goals
Finally, the last thing that will really help out is setting small goals as you progress through your program. Sometimes when you have a long way to go to reach your long-term goal, it can be a struggle to stick with it since it seems there is no end in sight.
By setting these smaller goals, it will give you something to look forward to that is obtainable in the near future, and give you a sense of accomplishment when you do reach each goal.
Be sure that you do follow through with your rewards though, otherwise it almost defeats the whole point of having the goal system in place.
So, next time you find you’re struggling to stick with your weight loss program, be sure you are keeping these points in mind. Come up with your own ideas too – as each person will have different things that make them ‘tick’ as far as motivational levels go.
Hope this helps.
Make small changes to your diet and daily life. You’ll see lesser, more gradual results, but it takes less willpower. Or find someone who is already in shape as a workout buddy. Not someone else who needs to lose weight, someone who will go no matter what and won’t let you out of going. It’ll rub off on you and make the difference.
