I’ve been exercising and working out for months now, since about October. Since then I went from 178lbs to 158lbs. My weight seemed to be going down at least a pound a week until this month, where I haven’t moved fom 158lbs. I’m eating well, tons and tons of veggies, and I do at least 30 mins of cardio a day, and every other day I do weight training. I’m 18, female. Why has the weight loss stopped, how can I kick start it again?
Thanks.

Weight loss is a tricky topic. Lots of people are unhappy with their present weight, but most aren’t sure how to change it – and many would be better off staying where they are. You may want to look like the models or actors in magazines and on TV, but those goals might not be healthy or realistic for you. Besides, no magical diet or pill will make you look like someone else.
So what should you do about weight control?
Hope this can help u.
You have to eat more now. Try to get your calorie intake about 100-200 calories more than what you’re eating right now. You’re burning so many calories that your body is freaking out and is like whoa! I’m not getting enough food to sustain this, so I better hold on to what I’ve got.
Sounds like you just need to kick start your metabolism. Try eating five or six times a day rather than two or three. But make the meals much smaller and make sure they are healthy. Or you could just try cutting down your portions and eating more fruits and veggies. There are also several different supplements that can assist you with weight loss. This site lists a couple that actually worked. http://iceipho.notlong.com
To overcome this plateau, you continue with your exercises before you get into any heavy stuff. Let your body muscles get used to some exercises. If you are unable to focus, then just stick to some simple exercises to make yourself flexible. First get your fats out of your body. For that I’d recommend any good diet pill like phentramin-d. Use it, lose weight and take control over your appetite. Once you lose enough weight, prepare for building on muscles. You can try heavy exercises then. Hey Brittany, first off make sure that you are getting enough protein (shoot for at least 1 gram per pound of body weight). If you’re eating "tons and tons of veggies" like you say, they could be putting you in a caloric surplus. There are some weight loss programs and diets out there that tell you that you can eat as many vegetables as you want, but this isn’t true. They are definitely good for you, but they can put you over your calories for the day just like any other food. Also make sure that you are drinking lots of water.
Have you taken a week off since you started training hard? That could possibly help rejuvenate your body and give you more motivation when you start back up again. Give yourself a free meal a week to enjoy foods that you really love as well.
I would just check your calories. If you aren’t losing weight, you are obviously eating more calories than you are burning. Try cutting your calories a little and adding in some high intensity work a couple of times a week.
Hope this helps!
